FAQs

You can come as a short-stay coliver (1 to 3 months) for a period of personal retreat, creative inspiration, or as a period of exploration in your transition to living in Montseny, etc.

And you can also come for a long stay (from 3 to 12 months) where you will become even more part of the Kalart “family” and you will also establish links with the Montseny valley community.

You can be freelance, entrepreneur, salaried, need coworking or not. If you come from the creative, cultural or holistic industries much better, we speak the same language! For more details contact us.

All colivers have their own private room. We have 9 rooms in total and they are mostly semi-furnished.

We are located 50 minutes by train or car from Barcelona and Girona. It can be reached by the highway (AP-7) or with Renfe Rodalies (R2). There is a bus from the train station that takes you to Sant Esteve de Palautordera, the town where Kalart is.

Yes, we are in a rural area but 500 meters from a town with a lot of cultural and commercial activity as well. In Sant Esteve de Palautordera we have a cafeteria-bookstore for example, or an artisan pizzeria that was opened via crowdfunding from the valley community. We have restaurants serving local food, but also Japanese and even Russian. And there are small and large supermarkets too.

Yes, on weekdays a healthy flexi-vegetarian meal is served at 2pm.

Yes. We have 2 bikes for common use, perfect for taking a ride through the Montseny valley or going shopping in town or going out for a coffee.

Yes, during the week different activities are hosted in our room. Music, movement, therapy, etc. Also some of the weekends we do events. To be informed, send us an email and we will add you to our events distribution list.

If you live in Kalart you can make free use of our facilities. Otherwise, you can rent the room by the hour, in specific events or in regular monthly activities. Ask us more about the conditions by email or by calling us.

Yes, we also offer coworking spaces for professionals in the vicinity. Half-day or full-day mode. Ask us.
